The purpose of the free medical repatriation is to facilitate the safe and timely return of individuals facing serious medical conditions, unfit to work or fatal injuries to their home country. It is designed to ensure that individuals receive appropriate care in familiar surroundings
The repatriation process typically involves coordination between medical professionals, transportation services, and relevant authorities namely Perkeso Rehab. It may include medical assessments, securing necessary permits, and arranging transportation to the individual’s home country which will be handled by Vendor.
The individual undergoing repatriation will not incur any expenses throughout the entire process, provided their ACare SIM card remains active.
The type of transportation used for repatriation may depend on the medical condition and the distance to be covered. Air ambulances, commercial flights, or other means of transportation may be utilized based on the circumstances.
The destination country for repatriation is determined by the subscriber’s passport country of origin & one way only.
For every individual undergoing repatriation, their SIM card will be kept active for 1 year to facilitate easy communication by PERKESO and other relevant government agencies.
